Analysis of the Luxy app shows it’s just like any other dating app

As a millionaire dating app, Luxy caters to highly successful, educated, and wealthy singles. Since 2014, over 2 million people have joined this elite network in search of love. When we analyzed the reviews of this app, we noticed that people were very unhappy with the profiles and accounts.

What do we base our findings on?

The topic “profile” occurs in 7% of the reviews has an average grade of 1,79 / 5. This value is lower than the overall average grade of 2,52 / 5 for the project. The topic is commonly mentioned with words such as “pictures” and “fake”.
The topic “account” has an average grade of 1,40 / 5. This value is lower than the overall average grade of 2,52 / 5 for the project. The topic frequently occurs along with the topics “delete” (in 36% of the cases) and “disabled” (in 18% of the cases). This indicates some users being very discontent with the unjustified deleting of their accounts.

While Luxy is supposed to target wealthy people, it seems that the application is still having the same issues as any other dating app. Fake profiles and pictures are driving the grade down for the app. Most likely trying to deal with this issue by deleting the accounts, seems to further drive the grade down since it seems that the wrong accounts are being targeted.
