OOFOS designs footwear using their patented foam technology combined with a biomechanically engineered footbed. The footwear is designed to absorb shock and relieve the ankles. The OOFOS brand launched in the US in late 2011 and rapidly became a hit.

We wanted to see what we could learn about OOFOS footwear and how they are being received by customers. So we took 12 262 reviews about OOFOS and ran them through Gavagai explorer. Here is what we learned!

The topic “plantar fasciitis” has a grade of 4,82 / 5. This value is higher than the overall average grade of 4,69 / 5 for the project.This topic indicates that people are experiencing relief from plantar fasciitis when using shoes from OOFOS.

The topic “fit” occurs in 11% of the texts and frequently occurs along with the topics order (in 25% of the cases) and shoes (in 20% of the cases).When we take a closer look on the topic, we can see that the topic indicates customers being discontent with the sizes available.
