Google Marketing Platform is an advertising and analytics platform launched in 2018. It has a unified DoubleClick advertiser and Google Analytics 360 Suite under a single brand. The Google Marketing Platform helps you plan, buy, measure and optimize digital media and customer experiences.

We wanted to see what we could learn about the experiences of the users of the Google Marketing Platform. We took 206 reviews about Google Marketing Platform posted on G2Crowd and ran them through Gavagai Explorer. Some things we learned were really interesting!

Here are three things we found interesting!

“Interface” is a negative driver that tends to draw the grade down. The average grade for “interface” is 4,02 / 5 which is lower than the total average of 4,09 / 5. The interface is mentioned in 24% of the reviews.

The topic “campaigns” is a positive driver for the overall grade. “Campaigns” have an average grade of 4,18 and the overall average grade is 4,09. There is a strong relationship between “campaign” and “multiple”.

“Tracking” is a topic that tends to draw the grade down. The average grade for tracking is 3,98 while the total average grade is 4,09. “Tracking” is mainly connected with advertising and conversion.

What are the learning points from this?

It seems like Google Marketing Platform is a good tool for working with multiple campaigns. At least that’s what the relation between “campaigns” and “multiple” indicates.

“Tracking” and “interface” are negative drivers for the overall grade. These topics seem to have a negative impact on the average grade and might be topics where there is room for improvement. Some say that the interface is confusing and hard to navigate.
