HBO app analysis show connection issues according to users

HBO is an American premium cable and satellite television network owned by Home Box Office, Inc. We used Gavagi explorer to analyze 2 896 reviews about the HBO app and noticed that users seem to be having issues with the connection as well as the devices the app is used on.

Why do we say that?

The topic “connection” is connected to lower grade averages at 1,4 / 5. It is occurring in 3% of all reviews and is fairly frequently mentioned in connection to the topic “chromecast”, “problems”, “issues” and “loses”.
Another topic, “devices”, correlates to a score of 1,29 / 5, which is the lowest grade average in our graph. This means that the score is driving the overall average down. It occurs in 6% of all reviews. It is sometimes used in connection with the topic “modified”.

For one thing, the use of the topic “devices” suggests that the application might be lacking in its support for different platforms. Its occurrence with the topic “modified” might mean users with modified devices are experiencing issues.

“Connection” also sticks out as an aspect that makes some reviewers give low scores, often in connection with “chromecast”. It seems that the device loses its connection to the screen or is having problems connecting to it.
