What is the user experience of this business intelligence software?
The company Qlik, founded in Sweden in 1993, offers software for business intelligence and data visualization. They have more than 50 000 customers globally and their aim is to offer a solution for getting value out of data, so users can make decisions based on the data.
We wanted to learn more about Qlik’s products and how they are received among users. So we collected 1 181 reviews about the products Qlikview, Qlik Sense, and Qlik Analytics Platforms, posted on Gartner. The reviews were analyzed using Gavagai Explorer.

“Vendor” seems to have a negative impact on the grade, especially when it is mentioned together with “implemented”. However, the topic has decreased in occurrence and the sentiment has increased over time.
The topic “community” seems to have a positive impact on the grade. It is often mentioned together with “help” and “online”.
What can we tell from this?
One thing customers seem to appreciate is the simplicity of the products – several reviewers mention the tools are easy to learn and use.
The topic “vendor” seems to have a negative impact on the grade but this topic has decreased in occurrence. Some reviewers mention they are satisfied with the product but disappointed with the vendor.
It appears that there is a large community where users can get support and answers for basic questions. Although the community is only mentioned in 3% of the reviews, it seems to be a positive driver for the grade.
