Taking a closer look at this medical training service

We wanted to see what we could learn about the customers’ experiences of a training service for healthcare professionals. So we took 2 107 reviews about Summit Professional Education posted on Trust Pilot and ran them through Gavagai Explorer.

Here are 4 things we found out!

The topic “material” is a negative driver for the grade. When reviews mention “material” in relation to the topic “review”, the grade is lower. The average grade for material is 4,52 / 5, which is lower than the overall average grade of 4,66 / 5.

The topic “instructors” drives grades up. “Instructor” has an average grade of 4,75 / 5, compared to the overall average grade of 4,66 / 5.
The top three emotive topics related with “instructor” are “knowledgeable”, “great” and “excellent”. Over time, the topic has increased in occurrence.

“Live” is a positive driver for the grade, especially when it is mentioned together with “seminars”. The average grade for the topic is 4,74 / 5, which is higher than the overall average grade (4,66 / 5).

Reviewers who mention “subscription” seem to give a higher grade than the overall average: 4,73 / 5 compared to 4,66 / 5. It is often mentioned together with “access” and “yearly”.

What can Summit Professional Education learn from this?

The main concern about the material seems to be that it is either hard to review because of the layout or that it is simply too much to review. To facilitate learning, there might be a good idea to look over the material used in the courses.

The instructors seem to be doing a good job according to the review data. We can also see that students appreciate the live seminars. A few people wish for more live courses on the weekends but overall people are very satisfied with the courses.
